Non-PVP Event

Laddergoat's First Event 2011
Hi, I'm laddergoat for you that I haven't met in game before.

Now I used to be in another guild on my main and we used to have this fun competition that I was thinking of running in GoA to see ifit is possible to run it here as well.

The game is pretty simple;

• We make a Human character (The class does not matter)
  
• The game starts inside the Citadel/Church in the human starting Area, I will be there as a referee with a more definite position.
  
• Then it's a race: First one to Menethil Harbor is the winner
  
• Rules:
  
  1. Not allowed to use any kind of portal (except the railway, which isn't really a portal, just a quick way to IF)
     
  2. You are not allowed to use FS, or are you allowed to level before the race starts
     
  3. You are not allowed to bring a higher level char to cover you from mobs
     

I will as soon as the race has begun, I will fly to Menethil Harbor and wait for the winner at the gates.

Now to Prize:
The winner will be awarded 500 Gold and a Eye of Zul.

Please Give some feedback if you are interested, if there are any questions or if there is something you don't like about the event.
Once I see if there is a decent amount of people interested (No fun to run it with 3 players), I will give a date and a time that will work on both time zones (Probably a weekend date)

heh, for 500g reward, u should make it more interesting, say, lvl 20 from darnassus to crossroads no boats/FPs allowed or somethin like that an u lose 50g off winning reward for everytime u get gankd by hordies

Since it is my first event I will make the first one a little easier so that people will try and run it more time

It is hard for me to observe if someone gets ganked or not.

If I'm around for this... I feel like running with the runners and filming it using fraps and then chuck it onto a GoA youtube channel. Still feel we need more images/videos of events that happen in the guild, just to show how great GoA is ! Not only that but it'll prove that no one cheats

last i checked the ability to compare achievements/statistics worked so assuming it still works all u would have to do is check everybodys stat page an see deaths by other players an make a note of it, then check it again after the end and u would know how many times they got gankd
